Our Story

It all started when…

I believed from the first day I typed up the pitch for Impulse that it would be the company's purpose to serve the USC community. Impulse was created to give our fellow students opportunities to be in high-quality productions that can supplement their career paths. Each semester, we've been able to fulfill that goal. 

Jack Eletto and I decided in the summer of 2017 to create this company to fill in the gaps of contemporary realism, inclusivity, and open casting in our community. We built the company from the ground up - creating an executive board and hosting meetings, securing grants and venues, getting faculty and administrative support, and producing a show - all in one semester! We truly believed in this company's purpose and that gave us the drive to make everything happen.

I have high hopes that this company will continue to grow and be a creative outlet for students wanting to see their visions come to life!
